“Make me hear in the morning of Your steadfast love, for in You I trust. Help me know the way to walk in, for unto You I lift up my soul.” Psalm 143:8
It was quite a few years ago, I can’t recall exactly when, that I was praying this verse and I started singing. I’m not a songwriter, yet a melody came into my heart that shaped itself to these words.
“Let me hear in the morning of Your steadfast love,
For in Your I’ve put my trust.
Show me the way that I should go
For to You I lift up my soul.”
Take a scripture that speaks to you and start singing it. Add music to it and repeat your singing again. Don’t forget your own composition. When you do this, you will find memorizing becomes easier. The scripture come alive and becomes more meaningful. God is ready to pour out His morning love to You.
