Today I celebrated a spiritual birthday – I turned 40 today in terms of my faith and following Christ. I don’t want to talk about what I have done or what I have learned. It’s enough to point to him, my source of strength (and healing, and love, and forgiveness, and so much more).
“Deliver me…O my God; protect me…
I will sing of your might, I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been a fortress for me and a refuge in the day of my distress.
O my strength, I will sing praises to you,
for you, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love.
